Douwe Hoekstra

Douwe Hoekstra, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as a Senior Investment Manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. since September 2013, focusing on the selection and monitoring of External Managers for the ABN AMRO Pension Fund, which manages over EUR 30 billion in assets across various sectors. Prior to this role, Douwe held several positions at ABN AMRO Bank Switzerland, including Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management and Senior Investment Advisor, where responsibilities included managing teams and providing investment advice to high net worth individuals. Douwe's earlier career at ING encompassed roles as an Equity Investment Analyst, Operations Manager, and Credit Risk Manager, demonstrating a breadth of experience in investment management and financial operations. Douwe holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology and has studied at Tulane University and the National University of Singapore.
