Saman Amini

Saman Amini is a skilled professional in machine learning engineering and data science with extensive experience in both banking and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Chapter Lead Machine Learning Engineering and previously as a Machine Learning Engineer at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Saman has a robust background at PwC as a Senior Associate and Associate, focusing on building applications and ML models, establishing DevOps practices, and automating workflows. Prior to this, Saman completed PhD research at both Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie and UMC Utrecht, concentrating on genetic interactions in cancer. Saman's educational qualifications include a PhD in Bioinformatics from Utrecht University, a Master's in Bioinformatics from Wageningen University, and another Master's in Genetics and Animal Breeding from the University of Tehran, alongside a Bachelor's in Animal Sciences from the University of Tabriz.
