Micah Zirn

Micah Zirn is a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Abnormal Security since January 2020, following a role as a Software Engineer. Previously, Micah gained experience as a Software Development Intern at Databricks, focusing on developing platform features within a multi-cloud microservice architecture using Kubernetes and Scala. Additional experience includes backend engineering with Node.js at Well Health Inc. on a HIPAA-compliant application and an internship at the office of U.S Congressman Jim Himes, assisting with constituent services and technology regulation. Micah holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Entrepreneurial Management and Innovation from The Wharton School and Applied Science in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Educational achievements also include participation in the Summer Academy in Applied Science and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania and the Yale Young Global Scholars Program.
