Max King

Max King has worked in various roles in the technology and library sectors since 2010. Max began their career as a Bora Laskin Law Library at the University of Toronto in 2010. In 2013, they moved to the University of British Columbia where they worked as an E-Resource Licensing Specialist, specializing in licensing, vendor negotiations and outreach to other departments in the UBC library. In 2014, they joined the Illinois Institute of Technology as a Library and Information Technology Librarian. In 2018, they became a Full-stack Developer at the Center for New York City Neighborhoods. In 2021, they joined Abound as an Engineering Manager and Senior Engineer. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at LiveRamp.

Max King attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Masters of Science in Information Architecture. From 2010 to 2012, they attended the University of Toronto, earning a Masters of Library and Information Sciences. Max attended Simon Fraser University from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory.
