Austin Burch

Austin Burch began their career in 2014 as a Blast Effect Co-op at Baker Engineering and Risk Consultants. Austin then returned to the company in 2015 as a Blast Effect Intern. In 2016, they moved to Texas A&M University, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant focusing in Infrastructure based autonomy and unmanned systems, as well as a Graduate Teaching Assistant/Lab Instructor. In 2017, they co-founded Above, where they currently serve as Chairman & CEO and CTO.

Austin Burch obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2015, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2018.
