David Brond has extensive experience in strategic planning, communications, and marketing. David started their career in 1989 as VP of Marketing and Planning at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) and held the position until 1996. From 1999 to 2008, they served as VP of Marketing and Planning at the University of Maryland Medical Center. David then worked as VP of Communications and Marketing at the University of Delaware from 2008 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they were SVP of Communications and Marketing at Augusta University. David Brond then took on the role of VP of Strategic Communications & External Relations at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they are the Vice President of Strategy and Planning at Aloysius Butler & Clark, a position they have held since 2015.
David Brond completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Geography from Bucknell University from 1977 to 1981. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Health Care Administration at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business from 1985 to 1987.
