Avigail Malachi has a diverse work experience in the music field. Avigail started as a Professional Musician in 2007, specializing in classical, Klezmer, and Tango music. Avigail then went on to work as the Clarinet Faculty at The Spence School from 2013 to 2020. During their time at The Abraham Joshua Heschel School starting in 2018, they held roles as the Music Director and Orchestra Conductor of The Heschel Community Orchestra, as well as an Instrumental Music Teacher. Additionally, they produced the Clarinet and Klezmer festival from 2010 to 2019 and worked as a Woodwinds Coach at the InterSchool Orchestras of New York from 2015 to 2018. Throughout their career, Avigail has shown a dedication to music and a commitment to teaching and performing.

Avigail Malachi completed their Bachelor's degree in Clarinet Performance at The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance from 2001 to 2005. Avigail then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at Mannes College the New School for Music from 2007 to 2009. Finally, they obtained a Professional Studies Diploma in Clarinet Performance from Mannes College the New School for Music from 2009 to 2011.
