Clara Parkes

Clara Parkes is an experienced leader and writer in the knitting industry, currently serving as the Director of The Wool Channel since December 2020 and as the Founder of Clara Yarn and Knitter's Review since 2014 and 2000 respectively. As an author, Clara Parkes has published notable works including The Knitter's Book of Yarn, The Knitter's Book of Wool, and The Knitter's Book of Socks, with additional contributions to publications such as Twist Collective and Interweave Knits. Clara Parkes holds a BA in Art History and French from Mills College and a certification as a Wool Classer from the American Sheep Industry Association. With a robust background in editing and publishing, Clara Parkes has established a significant presence in the fiber arts community.
