Alex Braun

Alex Braun is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy and IT sectors. Currently serving as Head of Development and Customer Migration at Abraxas Informatik AG, Alex has been instrumental in overseeing various projects since February 2021. Prior to this role, Alex held significant positions at E.ON, including Head of Process-IT and Head of Product Management and Development, where responsibilities included the end-to-end delivery of software solutions for B2B customers, the development of decentralized energy concepts, and involvement in mergers and acquisitions. Further experience includes a role as Head of Product Management/New Technologies at Viessmann, focusing on innovations in combined heat power and fuel cells, and as a Senior Consultant at Capgemini Consulting. Alex holds degrees from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and the Technical University of Munich.
