Christina Wang, PhD, has a diverse range of work experience. Christina currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering Applications at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). Prior to this role, they held the positions of Vice President of Digital Solutions, Vice President of Global Marine, Vice President of Global Engineering and Technology, and Vice President of Operational and Environmental Performance at ABS. Before joining ABS, they worked as the Director of Marine Technology at the same company. In addition to their work at ABS, Dr. Wang also served as the Chair of the 21st International Ship and Offshore Structures Congress. Christina is recognized as a Fellow by both the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Christina Wang, PhD has a diverse education history. In 2015, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for the Stanford Executive Program. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marine Structures from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Christina also holds a Master's degree in Marine Structures from NTNU. Their Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering was earned from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have attained an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan Executive Education in 2021.
