Sohel Pirani

Sohel Pirani, CFA, CTP, currently serves as the Director of Treasury and Investments at the American Bureau of Shipping since 2015. Prior to this role, Sohel held several positions at Baker Hughes, including Manager of Global Treasury Operations and Capital Markets, and Manager of Corporate Finance and Enterprise Analytics. Experience also includes roles at The Planet, Merrill Lynch, and Intel Corp, focusing on corporate finance and investment analysis. Sohel began a career in finance as a Portfolio Analyst at Munder Capital Management and previously worked as a Business Analyst/Project Lead at Ford Motor Company. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan, an MS in Computer Science from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
