Farida Kamala-Cpa

Farida Kamala-CPA(T) is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Head of SME & ESD at Absa Bank Tanzania since February 2020, where responsibilities include generating proposals to enhance the SME portfolio and aligning business functions with the SME Strategy. Previously, Farida held various roles at Barclays from April 2013 to February 2020, including Senior Relationship Manager, where management of a team and client relationship development were key focus areas. Farida's career began as an Assistant Relationship Manager at Barclays, progressing through the ranks after participating in a comprehensive Graduate Management Trainee Program. Farida's early career included an internship at HLB MEKONSULT, where quality audit support and client interaction were fundamental. Educational qualifications include a postgraduate degree in Finance from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor's in Corporate Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam. Farida was recognized with the Business Banking Service Award in 2016 for exceptional service delivery.
