Jan Mach

Jan Mach is an experienced software development leader with a career spanning several prominent organizations. Currently serving as a SW Dev Lead at Absa Group since December 2017, Jan previously held the same title in the Pricing and Risk division at Barclays from January 2013 to November 2017. Prior to that, Jan worked as a SW Developer at Barclays Capital between June 2009 and January 2013 and operated as a self-employed C++ developer from February 1997 to May 2009, focusing on a project dedicated to the dimensioning of electric nets of low and medium voltage. Jan's early career includes software development at Antek AAD from 1999 to 2009. Jan holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Charles University, completed between 1994 and 2004, alongside additional education from GMK and Kosmos.
