Phathisani Ngwenya

Phathisani Ngwenya has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Starting in 2004 as a Computer Studies Teacher at Plumtree School, Ngwenya then joined KPMG as a Systems Administrator in 2008. Afterward, Ngwenya worked at Transnet as an Operational Risk Analyst before moving to Arup as a Data Analytics Consultant on a project. Ngwenya also served as a Data Analytics Consultant at the Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs department. From 2012 to 2017, Ngwenya worked at Sabcool Pty Ltd, first as a Management Information Systems Analyst and later as an MIS Manager. Ngwenya then joined HSBC as a Senior MI/Business Assurance Analyst for the Middle East and North Africa region. Most recently, Ngwenya is working at Alexander Forbes as a Data Specialist in the Institutional Business division. And from December 2022 onwards, Ngwenya will be joining Absa Group as a Vice President in the Absa Regional Operations RBB Risk Data team.

Phathisani Ngwenya, AMIITPSA, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Additionally, they have a certification as an AMIITPSA from the IITPSA and a Cisco Certified Network Associate certification from Cisco. Phathisani also attended Plumtree School and the National University of Science and Technology, although the specific degrees obtained from these institutions are not mentioned.
