Rory Abrahams

Rory Abrahams has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Rory began their career at Rhodes University, where they served as a member of the SRC Executive Committee and later as an SRC Project Manager from August 2011 to December 2012. In 2013, they interned at Deloitte South Africa, working in marketing and business development for clients and industries. From 2014 to 2017, they joined IQ Business Group as a Business Analyst and Senior Principal Management Consultant. In 2018, they transitioned to Absa Group, where they held various roles, including Product Development Specialist, Product Manager, and Assistant Vice President until December 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Product Manager and Vice President at Absa Group.

Rory Abrahams holds a Certificate in Global Management Foundations from IMD, obtained in 2022. In 2012, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Management and Economics from Rhodes University. Prior to that, Rory attended South African College School, where they received their Matric / Grade 12 qualification in 2008. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Kanban Management Professional from Kanban University in 2022, and Certified Process Professional Master - CPP Master from BP Group in 2016. In 2014, Rory acquired Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification - Level II from Acuity Institute and obtained a Prince2 Foundation certification from APMG-International.
