Unathi Ntengo

Unathi Ntengo has a strong background in the insurance industry, with extensive experience in various roles. They most recently worked at Absa Group as the Head of Products. Prior to that, they held positions at Mutual & Federal Risk Financing, where they served as the Head of Business Development from 2020 to 2023, and as a Business Development Executive from 2018 to 2023. They also worked at Marsh as an Account Executive from 2014 to 2018, at Santam Insurance as a Marketer from 2012 to 2014, at Alexander Forbes as a Broker and Corporate Claims handler from 2007 to 2012, and at Mutual & Federal as a Commercial Underwriter from 2004 to 2007. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in areas such as product management, business development, account management, and claims handling.

Unathi Ntengo completed a Certificate in Advanced Programme In Risk Management at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2017 to 2018. They also obtained a Certificate in Insurance Leadership Development Programme from GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) in 2017. Prior to that, Unathi earned a Diploma in Insurance from UNISA between 2007 and 2011. They completed their Matric at Paul Roos Gymnasium from 2000 to 2002.
