Jimmy Derocher

Jimmy Derocher has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Jimmy started their career as a Teacher's Assistant at Whitworth University, where they graded problem sets for introductory computer science courses.

In 2012, Jimmy became a Co-Founder and Partner at Shafer Derocher LLP, a role that they continue to hold.

In 2013, they took on the role of Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Vuevent Inc., where they gained skills in version control systems, product/project management, web development, and Apple applications. Jimmy also developed and deployed to a web platform with Django. Jimmy worked at Vuevent Inc. for five years until April 2018.

During this time, they also had a short internship as a Software Engineering Intern at Vavni, where they gained experience in assisted machine learning, data extraction, and Python scripting.

In 2015, Jimmy joined Absolute Performance Inc. as a Project Manager. In this role, they gathered software requirements and focused on developing enterprise-grade software driven by customer needs.

Most recently, Jimmy joined TrellisSoft, Inc. in 2018 as a Project Manager, where they are currently employed.

Jimmy Derocher attended Whitworth University from 2010 to 2014. Jimmy earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematical Economics and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science. Their field of study for their B.A. degree was Mathematical Economics, while their field of study for their B.S. degree was Computer Science.
