Vatsala Naageshwaran

Vatsala Naageshwaran has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Vatsala currently holds the position of Vice President, Head of Business Development, US CGT and Lab Services at Pharmaron US Lab Services, a role they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they were Vice President, Business Development, US Lab Services and CGT at Pharmaron from July 2022 to July 2023. Before joining Pharmaron, Vatsala held various roles at Absorption Systems, a Pharmaron company, including Vice President Operations and Business Development, Chief Business Officer, Senior Vice President Operations, Vice President Corporate Development, Director of Operations, Associate Director of Scientific Operations, and Associate Director of Business Operations. Vatsala also worked as a Research Associate at Astex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from August 2006 to May 2008, and as a Senior Data Analyst at Myriad Genetic Laboratories from 2000 to 2004.

Vatsala Naageshwaran is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Eastern Finland, a program that began in 2019 and is expected to conclude in 2023. Prior to this, Vatsala completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmacometrics at the University of Maryland Baltimore, which was obtained between 2017 and 2019. Vatsala's undergraduate education includes an AM degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Mount Holyoke College, although the specific years of enrollment and completion are unknown.
