Joseph Baweja

Joseph Baweja has extensive work experience in the fields of public health and program management. Joseph currently serves as the Digital Public Health Lead at Abt Associates. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Public Health Programs at TrueTandem and as the Business Development Director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at SAIC. Baweja has also held various roles at Leidos, including Vice President of Program Management and Public Health Account Executive. Joseph has a strong background in managing projects for CDC, including developing project plans, adjusting schedules, and assigning resources. In addition to their work in the public health sector, Baweja has also served as the President of Ruby Forest HOA.

Joseph Baweja graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University in 1993. Joseph then pursued a Master's degree in Cyber Security at NYU-Poly from 2010 to 2013. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a PMP certification from PMI in September 2005 and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in April 2009. Joseph also completed various Coursera courses in data analysis, programming, and survey design in 2014. Most recently, they obtained certifications in "Elevating Coaching Skills" from Duke Corporate Education and "Engaging Hybrid Teams Inclusively" from ExecOnline in 2021.
