John Gan

John brings to ABT over 30 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry and in equity investing. John has held senior executive management positions across sectors including investment banking, money markets, foreign exchange, insurance, and capital markets. He was a C-level executive for several multinational companies, including a global insurance company where he was responsible for the development of 50,000 financial sales advisors in eight countries.

At age 50, he left the corporate world to pursue his dream to be an entrepreneur and full-time investor. Among his investing achievements, he co-founded a start-up in 2009 and took it public in 2014. At the time of his exit, his early investors saw a 20X (2000 %) return from their investment. He also founded 360 Securities Ltd., a registered securities dealer which he oversaw as CEO and Chief Compliance Officer.

Throughout his career, John has acquired a wealth of experience and expertise while achieving milestones and success for his companies. He is now combining his skills, extensive knowledge, and global perspective on finance and investing acquired over an entire career to launch and grow ABT Capital Markets.
