Moira Forbes

Moira Forbes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health policy and management. Currently serving as Managing Director at Abt Associates since July 2023, Forbes previously held key positions including Principal Policy Director and Policy Director at MACPAC from January 2013 to June 2023. Prior roles include Director of the Division of Health and Social Services at the US Department of Health and Human Services in 2012-2013, and Vice President at The Lewin Group from 1994 to 2012. Additionally, Forbes has served as an Instructor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and authored a comprehensive guide to employment opportunities in Russia and the Newly Independent States in 1994. Forbes holds an AB in Russian/Political Science from Bryn Mawr College and an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business.
