Alex I.

Alex I. serves as the Head of Airside Safety and Certifications at Abu Dhabi Airports since May 2022, overseeing safety management and certification activities across multiple airports. Prior roles include Head Airside Investigations and Work Approvals at the same organization, and Aerodrome Operations Director at Riyadh Airports, where Alex was responsible for operations at King Khalid International Airport. Other experiences encompass positions such as Airport Operations Advisor for the World Defense Show and Head of Aerodrome Operations at London City Airport. Alex has a strong background in training, having designed and delivered aviation courses, and held various operational roles at airports including London Stansted and London Oxford. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management in the Service Sector from the University of Bradford and an FdSc in Aviation Management and Operations from London Metropolitan University.
