Prof. Alexander Lipton

Prof. Alexander Lipton currently serves as the Global Head of Quantitative Research and Development, Portfolio Oversight at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) since January 2022, and is a Founding Member of the Advisory Board at ADIA Lab. Additionally, Lipton holds a position as a Professor of Practice in the Department of Mathematics at Khalifa University and as a Visiting Professor and Dean's Fellow at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Business School. Since April 2016, Lipton has been a Senior Founding Connection Science Fellow at MIT Connection Science, contributing to initiatives aimed at improving society through network science. Lipton is also a Partner at Numeraire Financial, Inc., and serves as an advisor to Metha AI and FortifID, Inc., while being a member of the Advisory Council at Sygnum Bank and a Strategic Advisor at Katalysen & Partners AB. Lipton holds a PhD and an MS in Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
