Karuppanchetty Palaniappan

Karuppanchetty Palaniappan has extensive experience in business planning and analytics within the banking sector, currently serving as the Head of Business Planning & Analytics at Abudhabi Islamic Bank since September 2014, overseeing retail business planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management. Prior to this role, Karuppanchetty held the position of Head of Business Planning and Analytics - Retail at Barclays from June 2007 to September 2014, where responsibilities included leading the finance workstream during the acquisition process. Earlier experience includes serving as Manager MI & Analytics at Standard Chartered Bank from March 2003 to June 2007 and working as a Software Engineer at OpenTide Korea from September 1999 to October 2002. Karuppanchetty holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras.
