William Lawrence

William Lawrence is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and governance, primarily within the ports and construction sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Portfolio Governance and Compliance at Abu Dhabi Ports Company since June 2021, William oversees a CAPEX portfolio exceeding AED 20 billion and has successfully led numerous international and domestic projects. Previously, as Senior Manager of Project Management and Senior Manager of Project Execution at Abu Dhabi Ports and AD Ports Group, William directed comprehensive project management strategies and ensured successful project completions worth over AED 5 billion. Earlier roles included project coordination and management positions at Mace, Halcrow, and Carl Bro, where William contributed to significant infrastructure and civil engineering projects. William holds a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds.
