Matthias Büchler

Matthias Büchler is the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), where he works closely with the executive management team to develop and execute ADX’s corporate strategy. He brings over 17 years of experience in corporate strategy with a strong track record in delivering financial growth for Middle Eastern financial institutions. Mr. Büchler joins ADX from RAKBANK where he was appointed by the Board of Directors to review, define and execute the bank’s group-wide strategy and transform its operating model. He previously held senior strategy roles at National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Mashreq Bank and started his career as a strategy consultant with Roland Berger in Zurich. Mr. Büchler holds an Executive MBA from London Business School, a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Bern, and a master’s qualification in Audit & Consulting with EAP European School of Management.
