Stanley Leary

Stanley Leary has extensive work experience as a storyteller, independent owner, and communications consultant. Stanley has worked with various commercial and non-profit clients, using still images, multimedia, and video to effectively convey their stories. Stanley also co-founded and instructs a multimedia storytelling workshop at ABWE, focused on spreading the gospel and connecting with the audience through powerful storytelling techniques. Stanley has served as a guest lecturer at the University of the Nations and founded FOCUS, an organization that organized local events and communications. Stanley has also had roles as a contract worker at Black Star, a member of ASMP, and a member of the National Press Photographers Association. Stanley has worked as a consultant for Chick-fil-A, advising their internal corporate communications team on visual storytelling and providing photographic coverage. Additionally, Stanley has taught as an adjunct professor at Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Georgia, and Reinhardt College.

Stanley Leary pursued their formal education starting from their high school years at Manalapan High School, where they completed their secondary education between 1976 and 1980. As they proceeded to higher education, Stanley attended East Carolina University from 1980 to 1984 and attained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Later, they enrolled at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1990 to 1993, earning a Master's degree in Communications.

Additionally, Stanley Leary obtained a certification as an FAA License Part 107 Drone Pilot in February 2021 from the Federal Aviation Administration. These educational achievements and certification reflect Stanley's commitment to learning and expanding their knowledge and skills in various fields.
