Kashif Salim

Kashif Salim has extensive experience in sales and business development, primarily in the oil and gas industry. Kashif most recently worked as a Regional Business Director at Abyss Solutions Pty Ltd starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Sales & Key Account Manager at Oceaneering from April 2017 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for managing the sales and business development process, developing a sales growth strategy, and ensuring the business unit achieved yearly targets. Before Oceaneering, Kashif served as a Business Development Manager at Stanley Inspection / CRC-Evans from May 2013 to April 2017, where they focused on identifying leads, managing the sales process, and coordinating bid documents. Kashif also held positions at Exova Group Limited, including Regional Manager for Business Development - Oil & Gas from June 2010 to May 2013, Manager Metallurgy from May 2008 to June 2010, and Business Development Executive from May 2006 to April 2008. At Exova, they were responsible for sales and business development activities, managing a metallurgical testing laboratory, and supervising laboratory staff. Kashif's career began as an Assistant Manager at Advanced Engineering Research Organization, where they established and managed a materials testing laboratory and worked as a quality engineer for the production department. Kashif Salim obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy & Materials Engineering from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their A levels in Physics and Maths at Froebels International School from 1994 to 1996. In 2004, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Quality Management at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
