Syed Ibad Hussain

Syed Ibad Hussain's work experience includes a role as a Graduate Asset Integrity Engineer at Abyss Solutions Ltd starting in October 2022. In this role, they collaborate with a team to develop digital twins of offshore oil platforms for clients and automates the asset management system workflows. Syed Ibad also identifies discrepancies between P&IDs, CAD models, and on-site assets, as well as identifying and categorizing dead legs on offshore oil platforms.

Prior to that, Syed had an internship as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at FPCL (FFBL Power Company Limited) from July 2021 to August 2021. During this internship, they reported to the mechanical maintenance and inspection units and observed various equipment, machinery, processes, and operations on the plant site.

Syed Ibad Hussain pursued their education in a systematic manner. Syed Ibad began their academic journey at The Quaid-e-Azam College Swabi, where they completed their Pre-Engineering F.Sc degree from 2016 to 2018. Following this, they enrolled at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Syed Ibad dedicated four years to their undergraduate studies, commencing in 2018 and ending in 2022.

Additionally, Syed Ibad Hussain obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. In December 2021, they completed the MATLAB Onramp course provided by MathWorks. Moreover, they acquired the Simulink Onramp certification in the same month. Further expanding their knowledge, they completed the Control Design Onramp with Simulink course from MathWorks in January 2022. In October 2022, they obtained the Registered Engineer certification from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Finally, in February 2023, they successfully completed the Oil and Gas Industry Operations and Markets course offered by Coursera. These certifications showcase their commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in their field of study.
