Jonathan Jenkins

Jonathan Jenkins has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jonathan is currently the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at AC Disaster Consulting, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the same company from May 2019 to March 2023.

Before joining AC Disaster Consulting, Jenkins worked at Henry Stewart Publications starting from December 2017. Jonathan held the role of a Journal Review Board Member and Editor, focusing on Business Continuity, Emergency/Crisis Management, and Supply Chain.

From September 2013 to May 2019, Jenkins was the Assistant Commissioner at the New York City Emergency Management Department. Jonathan had previously held the positions of Director, Deputy Director, and Planner at the department, starting from August 2006.

Prior to their role at the New York City Emergency Management Department, Jenkins worked as a Preparedness Specialist at System Planning Corporation from April 2005 to August 2006. Jonathan also served as a Mission Analyst at SAIC from November 2004 to April 2005, and as a Program Analyst at L-3 Integrated Systems Group from October 2003 to November 2004.

Jenkins began their career as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Marymount University in August 2002 and concluded their role in December 2003. Jonathan also gained experience as a Terrorism Research Intern at American Institutes for Research from June 2003 to September 2003, and as a Policy Intern at The White House from January 2003 to May 2003.

In addition, Jenkins worked as a Legislative Intern at the United States Senate from August 2002 to December 2002.

Jonathan Jenkins attended Harvard University from 2017 to 2018, where they focused on the field of National Preparedness Leadership Initiative. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Forensic and Legal Psychology from Marymount University between 2002 and 2003. Jonathan completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky from 1998 to 2002, earning two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Biotechnology.
