Zamir Ahmed

Zamir Ahmed's work experience includes various roles in communications, public relations, and external affairs. Zamir currently holds the position of Vice President External Affairs at ACA Connects, where they lead government relations efforts and executes external affairs strategies. Zamir is responsible for advancing the interests of small and midsized broadband providers represented by ACA Connects.

Prior to their current role, Zamir worked at the National Association of Broadcasters, where they served as Vice President of Communications. Zamir developed and executed public relations strategies to bolster advocacy efforts for the broadcast radio and television industry. Zamir also held positions as Director and Senior Manager of Media Relations at the same organization.

Zamir's previous experience includes working as the Director of Special Projects at DC Social Sports Club, where they devised marketing strategies and organized social events. Zamir also served as Deputy Press Secretary at the U.S. House Committee on Small Business and as a Press Intern at Senator Dianne Feinstein's office.

Additionally, Zamir gained experience as the Managing Editor at The Middlebury Campus, a student-run newspaper, and as an Intern for the Vermont Frost Heaves, a minor league basketball team.

Zamir Ahmed completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English at Middlebury College from 2004 to 2008.
