Shagufta Wilson

Shagufta Wilson has extensive experience in special education, currently serving as a Teacher/Case Worker at Acacia Academy & The Achievement Centers, Inc. since October 2017, focusing on elementary and middle school special education students. Previously, Shagufta worked as an ESE Teacher for Brevard Public Schools from September 2014 to July 2017, concentrating on 3rd and 4th grade students. Shagufta's career began at The Children's Home of Reading (CHOR) as the Coordinator of Academic Services from June 2008 to June 2014, where responsibilities included managing teachers, developing Individual Educational Plans (IEPs), and facilitating student transitions to college and employment. Shagufta holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and Teaching from Alvernia University and a Bachelor's degree in Arts & Education from Columbia University.
