Amanda Garcia is currently a Senior Program Associate at Acacia Center for Justice. With a rich legal background, they served as a Principal Attorney at their own law firm from 2011 to 2017 and held various attorney positions at organizations including the National Immigrant Justice Center and the Vera Institute of Justice prior to their current role. Amanda began their career as a Contract Attorney and worked as an Associate Attorney before establishing their own firm. They hold a law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, earned in 2006.
