Cecelia Forberg is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in legal advocacy and case management for immigrants and asylum seekers. Currently serving as a Program Associate at Acacia Center for Justice since November 2022, Forberg previously held the role of Afghan Response Coordinator at the National Immigrant Justice Center, where responsibilities included conducting workshops for Afghan evacuees. Forberg has also worked as a Paralegal and Administrative Coordinator, developing programs and managing operations in various community-based organizations such as Casa Marianella and the Northwest Austin Universal Health Clinic. A graduate of DePaul University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies and Geography, Forberg blends strong organizational skills with a commitment to social justice and community support.
