Leah Prestamo serves as General Counsel at the Acacia Center for Justice since April 2022, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles including Counsel & Director of Programs and Policy at the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City from June 2017 to April 2022, and Legal Counsel - Compliance Manager at the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America from December 2012 to June 2017. Leah's background also includes a distinguished position as a Fulbright Fellow with the U.S. Department of State from August 2008 to July 2009. Academically, Leah Prestamo earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Boston University School of Law (2009-2012) following a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Adelphi University (2004-2008).
