Peter Janosik

Peter Janosik is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in fiber optics and photonic technologies, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Acacia Communications Inc. since March 2016, focusing on Fiber Integration to SiPh chip technology. Prior roles include Manager of Photonic Technologies at Innovative Photonic Solutions, where Peter developed ultra-stable laser products, and Principal Engineer at Princeton Lightwave, where significant contributions included RoHS multistage soldering system design and thermal packaging for Single Photon Detector Arrays. As Director of Manufacturing Engineering at OCLARO, Peter oversaw R&D and product implementation for opto-electronic packaging in DWDM Fiber Optic Networks. Peter's career began at Polytype America Co. as an Electrical Engineer and includes engineering positions at Tyco International and Princeton Lightwave. Peter holds MS degrees in Physics from Jagiellonian University and Stevens Institute of Technology.
