Daniel Florenzano

Daniel Florenzano is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in institutional relations, communication, and sustainability. Currently serving as the Gerente Executivo de Relações Institucionais, Comunicação e Sustentabilidade at Consorcio de Aluminio do Maranhao - Alumar since August 2024, Daniel oversees various critical areas including government relations, land management, and corporate social investment. Formerly a Senior Manager at Alumar, Daniel managed similar responsibilities while leading local initiatives for the Instituto Alcoa. With a tenured history at Vale from August 2010 to October 2022, Daniel held multiple managerial roles focused on community relations and sustainability across various projects throughout Maranhão. Daniel's academic background includes a Master's degree in Economics and Business Management from ISCTE Business School, an MBA from FGV, and a Bachelor's degree in Administration from Faculdade do Pará, complemented by an executive program in innovation and business management.
