Ashmita Biswas

Ashmita Biswas has been working in the education and writing industries since 2017. In 2021, they began working as a Content Creator for Sonderskyyy and an Academic Content Writer for Content Prism. Ashmita also worked as an English Tutor for Course Hero. In 2022, they became an Independent Researcher for Academia.edu, an English Teacher for Suvidha Foundation (Suvidha Mahila Mandal), and an English Teacher at St. Aloysius' Orphanage and Day School, where they were responsible for teaching English Language and Literature to students from classes 6 to 12. Additionally, they were an English Teacher at Loreto Rainbow Homes Foundation from 2018 to 2021. In 2017, they interned at Unekha, where they were a Content Editor and published their short story "An Encounter With Strange Memories" in their anthology 'Vibgyor - Shades of Life'.

Ashmita Biswas has a comprehensive education history. Ashmita began their studies in 2016 at St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts in English Literature (British and Commonwealth). Ashmita then continued their studies at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Arts in English in 2021. Ashmita also completed a Bachelor of Education in English Language and Literature/Letters in 2023, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in English Literature (British and Commonwealth). Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Creative Writing in English from the Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2022. Ashmita also has several certifications, including a Certificate of Appreciation for Paper Presentation from NEW LITERARIA- An International Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies in Humanities, WBSET English from the West Bengal College Service Commission, English NET Qualified from the University Grants Commission of India, and GATE 2022 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
