Natalie Nakamine has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 as a Legal Assistant at Peter J. Lenhart Attorney at Law, LLLC. In 2012, they began working as a Bills Researcher for the Hawaii State Legislature Senate Ways and Means Committee. Natalie then moved to UC Irvine in 2012, where they held roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. In 2016, they became a Web Business Analyst at DocuSign, then a Data Analyst at Doximity in 2017. In 2019, they joined Gametime United as a Data Analyst, and in 2020 they became an Analytics Engineer and Senior Product Data Analyst at Academia.edu. In their roles, Natalie has developed, owned, and executed analytics engineering visions and roadmaps, owned DBT, created product reporting schemas, conducted A/B testing, deep dive analyses, and generated recommendations for product and feature improvements.

Natalie Nakamine obtained a Bachelor's degree in US Politics and Government, with a minor in Mathematics, from the University of Puget Sound in 2011. Natalie then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Mathematical Behavioral Science and a Master's Degree in Political Science from UC Irvine, which they completed in 2015. In 2017, they obtained a certification in Data Science from General Assembly. In 2019, they obtained a Data Science Nanodegree from Udacity.
