Tommy Tate

Tommy Tate has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2003 as a professional actor. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at T2 Creative Media as a Product Manager, managing a team of developers and project managers while providing business consultation and product development for various brands in technology, entertainment, marketing, medical, and government. From 2010 to 2019, they worked at Hulu, starting as a Senior Manager of Product Management, Engagement, then becoming Manager of Product Management, Engagement, Senior Product Manager, Growth, Product Manager, Growth, Product Manager, Advertising, Senior Project Manager, Marketing & Advertising, and Producer, Creative Services. In 2019, they joined Bird, where they held the roles of Senior Director of Product Management, Head of Product, Government, Director of Product Management, and Group Product Manager. In 2021, they joined Bambee as Chief Product Officer, where they established the product strategy and rebuilt the Product & Design teams. Currently, they are the Vice President of Product Management at Academia.edu.

Tommy Tate completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University, with a focus in Theater, Economics and Psychology. Tommy then attended UNSW, studying Economics, Psychology and Film. Finally, Tommy Tate completed their education at the University of Michigan, studying Economics, Theatre and Film.
