Kimberly Swallen

Kimberly Swallen is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and instructional roles. Currently serving as a Learning Coach at Stark State College and an Instructor at Academic Approach, Kimberly also teaches Physics and Astronomy at Rowan University, where additional responsibilities include serving as STEAM Teacher Supervisor. Previous positions include working as a scorer for Pearson and an instructor at Hiram College. Kimberly's early career involved teaching science at Kingsway Regional High School and the School District of Philadelphia, as well as holding instructional and selection roles in the Philadelphia Teaching Fellows program. Kimberly holds a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership and Educational Technology from Rowan University, a Teaching Certificate from Drexel University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Hope College.
