Alicia Miranda

Alicia Martinez Miranda is an experienced professional with a strong background in learning and development, sociolinguistics, and cross-cultural communication. Currently serving as the Director of Product Experience at Academic Impressions since October 2017, Alicia has also held roles as Associate Director for Learning & Development and Senior Learning and Development Specialist within the same organization. Prior experience includes work as a Linguistic Analyst at Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide and as a Sociolinguistic Researcher at the Social Interaction Research Group at Georgetown University, where involvement in a government-funded project focused on cross-cultural communication in military contexts was key. Additional roles include serving as an Oral Communications Tutor at Georgetown University and as a Braillist/Paraprofessional at Denver Public Schools, supporting visually impaired students in their academic endeavors. Alicia holds a Master of Science in Sociolinguistics from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Romance Languages & Linguistics from Colorado College.
