Stacy Lutsch

Stacy Lutsch has a diverse range of work experience in the field of academia. From 2018 onwards, they served as the Vice President of Academics and Accreditation at Academic Programs International (API). Prior to this, from 2014 to 2018, they worked as the Director of Academic Initiatives at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In this role, they collaborated with various departments to enhance global learning opportunities and facilitated program co-creation with senior campus leadership. Before joining the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Stacy worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela from 2011 to 2014. During their time there, they led a team of visiting academics, standardized the language curriculum, and developed and taught professional courses. From 2006 to 2011, Stacy worked at The University of Kansas as a Graduate Assistant, Lecturer, and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Stacy Lutsch has a diverse education history. From 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Science degree in International Business at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. Prior to this, they were a PhD candidate in Spanish and Latin American Literature at The University of Kansas, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011. Stacy also obtained a Master of Arts degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the same university, attending from 2005 to 2007. Stacy began their undergraduate education at the University of Oregon from 2001 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Journalism.
