Gerald Botko

Gerald Botko is a highly experienced dental professional serving as a General Dentist and AGD Division Coordinator Advocacy at the Academy of General Dentistry since January 2018. Their extensive background includes roles as Past President of the AGD Foundation, Chief Dental Service at the VA Miami Healthcare System, and consultant and lecturer following retirement. Gerald Botko holds a DMD, MS, MAGD, and FACD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and has a strong foundation in public health and microbiology with degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Harvard University. Additionally, Gerald Botko has served in various capacities throughout a distinguished career, including membership in the AGD Communications Council and a retired Colonel in the U.S. Army.
