Mary Yoko Brannen

Mary Yoko Brannen serves as an Honorary Professor at Copenhagen Business School and a Fellow at the Academy of International Business since 2016. Brannen is also a Consulting Editor for the Journal of International Business Studies and a TrustedPeer Expert in Global Strategic Audits, contributing to innovative web-based consulting solutions. Previous roles include Deputy Editor for the Journal of International Business Studies and Professor of International Business at the University of Victoria, where Brannen held an endowed chair in cross-cultural management focused on East Asia. Brannen's academic career includes positions at INSEAD, San Jose State University, and the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MBA in International Business and Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
