Melodena Stephens

Melodena Stephens is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in innovation management, international marketing strategy, and emotional intelligence. Currently serving as the IEEE CerifAIEd Authorized Lead Assessor for AI Ethics since May 2024, Melodena is also a Professor of Innovation Management and a Research Fellow at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, alongside roles as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Wollongong in Dubai and a Professor at Karlshochschule International University. With a strong focus on branding, destination marketing, and social entrepreneurship, Melodena has held leadership positions in various academic organizations, including as the Dean for the Faculty of Management and Performance at Emerald Group Publishing and the Founder and President of the Academy of International Business. Academic credentials include a PhD in Management Studies/Marketing from Bharati Vidyapeeth, complemented by an MBA in Marketing.
