Jila Bagherian

Jila Bagherian, PhD, is an experienced researcher and consultant specializing in strategy, sustainability, and energy efficiency. Since January 2017, Jila has operated as a freelance research consultant, providing business support for startups, SMEs, and nonprofits to enhance productivity and revenue growth. Jila serves as an academic reviewer for the Academy of Management and previously held the position of Solar Energy Project Manager at Phoenix Renewable Services, managing all phases of solar energy project life cycles. Prior academic roles include a researcher at the University of East Anglia, focusing on sustainability transitions and offshore wind energy technologies, and lecturing on various management and marketing courses. Jila's educational background includes a PhD in Innovation and Sustainability Energy Transitions from the University of East Anglia, an MSc in Business Management with a focus on Renewable Energy Policy from Sheffield Hallam University, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the University of Tehran.
