Liela A. Jamjoom, Ph.D., currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Business & Technology since January 2024 and holds the position of Divisional Executive At-Large at the Academy of Management since August 2021. Previously, Liela worked as an Associate Editor for Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management from January 2022 to June 2024, and served as a Research Manager at Alwathba Consulting from February 2023 to February 2024. Liela's experience also includes a role as a researcher at Dar Al-Hekma University from June 2021 to January 2024, and as a Divisional Executive with the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada from June 2018 to August 2021. Earlier in a career at the University of Business and Technology, Liela was a Lecturer of Human Resources from August 2013 to November 2016. Academically, Liela earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Administration and Management from Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University (2015-2020), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Business & Technology (2010-2013), and a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from Dar Al-Hekma University (2006-2010).
