Lydia Fong

Lydia Fong has a diverse work experience primarily in communications and public relations. Lydia is currently working at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as an Associate Director of Communications. Prior to this, they held roles as Manager of Communications and Manager of Publicity at the same organization. Before joining the Academy, Lydia worked as a Publicist at the Los Angeles Philharmonic for four years. Lydia also had an extensive tenure at Plexi PR as a Senior Publicist for six years. Additionally, Lydia has worked as a Freelance Writer and Editor, where they wrote articles for various publications and served as an Assistant Editor for MAMM Magazine.

Lydia Fong holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
