Dan Schaeffer

Dan Schaeffer, CMT(R), has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry spanning over two decades. Dan currently serves as the Director - ABS Capital Markets at Academy Securities. Prior to this, they were a Treasurer at Berkshire Agriculture Ventures and Berkshire Waldorf School. From 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Co-Founder at EvoQue Investments Inc. Before that, Dan worked as a Financial Advisor at Alexandra Dest Capital Management and Morgan Stanley. Dan also served as an Executive Director at Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. and held the role of Senior Portfolio Manager - Managing Director at MKP Capital Management, L.L.C. Dan began their career at Deutsche Bank, where they served as a Vice President.

Dan Schaeffer, CMT(R), obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended McQuaid Jesuit High School from 1993 to 1997. In 2014, they obtained the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) certification from the CMT Association, Inc.
